Maybe in your day daaahhhllliinnngg, but times have moved on and being a girl who wears glasses, I have never had any problems – keeping the men was more of a problem!!!
It is now seen as niche to wear glasses, a fashion accessory – there are even people wearing them when they don’t need them… what!!! Try wearing them from the age of 2 and you would soon get bored with that one.
However, there are some great frames out there and I get why more and more people are wearing them.
I should know I have about 8 pairs!!!
It’s great to shop around. Just because you have your eyes tested with one particular optician, doesnt mean you have to limit yourself to their choice of frames. I never do. There are a lot of frames online now, however, if, like me, you have a high prescription, it’s always better to try before you buy – just my opinion obviously but I am usually right (or so I have been told, after a bit of arm wrestling).
