Yves Saint Laurent once said ”Accessories are what, in my opinion, pull the whole look together and make it unique”, (and he would know having introduced jewellery to his couture collections and runway shows in 1962).
The cheapest, simplest top can be transformed by a statement necklace. If I am wearing something plain with a round neck, I will always add something for effect.
If I have opted for something with a V-neck (like a dress),(particularly if patterned), I avoid big statement necklaces, opting for BIG earrings instead (always good to wear hair behind at least one ear to get full dramatic look ).
And on a summer’s day, I love a pair of jeans and a t-shirt or shirt with a statement cuff or bangle.
