A friend of mine recently asked (today, in fact) for advice on what style of top/dress she should wear (as she is rather well endowed n the bust area) and whilst I myself have never had that problem, I could still give her some tips.
I thought I would share them with you.
- Always make sure you are wearing the right size of bra. I know it seems pretty obvious but you would be surprised at the amount of people who don’t. Once you have the correct size, opt for a full covered bra.
- V-neck tops are the perfect neckline. They lengthen the neck and a deep plunging neckline hides a heavy upper body.
- Bold accessories with a plain top are a great idea, necklaces, chunky beads, strands of necklaces, in contrasting colours.
- If looking to buy a dress, wrap dresses are perfect for bigger busts, they flatter this body shape.
- Large print dresses. They give the appearance of being slimmer and also highlight curves( in the right places0.
- Now I know this can be a bit of a sore point as some Celeb stylists used to put them on everyone…. but…………………. belts actually do work, if worn firmly and just below bust, they give that ‘hourglass’ figure. Think 50’s Hollywood Starlet.
- For jackets, opt for a fitted blazer or a structured jacket.
- Lastly, dark solid colours in a top are a much better option

So for all you gorgeous, voluptuous ladies out there……..put your best bust forward!!
