So, I thought I would have a wee change of tact today and share what I am enjoying wearing on my face, (balaclava not an option unfortunately).

Having enjoyed some sunshine whilst vacationing and now having a bit of colour on my old white body, I am opting for a more sun kissed glow, unfortunately my face didn’t get the memo (it just doesn’t tan).

I have therefore resorted to this. I spray on my face before I go to bed and in the morning I have some much needed colour-tada!! SMELLS NICE TOO!

Once showered, I moisturise, using ESSE nourish moisturiser (this was part of a beauty box I got from Harper’s Bazaar), it feels really nice on my skin, I then add a touch of MAC, Give me Sun bronzer, for added glow.

For the eyes, my trusted Max Factor Charcoal grey eyeliner. I have tried far more expensive brands in the past but all they seem to do is irritate my eyes. Next, my lashes are given the once over with WOWCOMBO, ‘My Amazing Lashes’, so much cheaper than other brands and believe me, over the years, I have tried loads and this is by far my favourite, giving lovely long and full lashes.

For the cheeks I’m using Dior blush in ‘Actrice’. It’s a really summery warm corally pink, I add to this a touch of Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess ‘Heat Wave’ to highlight what little cheekbones my face has.

I dont want to have to keep topping up my lipstick, luckily I don’t have to, as my bargain find in TKMAXX was Anastasia Lip Stain in ‘Hot Pink’. Nothing shifts this, once it’s on, it’s on!!!!!!!!!!!. I use this as a base, line my lips with Pippa of London lipliner and then just add a gloss or lipstick of my choice, depending on the mood I am. Today I am wearing Benefit PunchPop gloss in ‘Bubblegum’, as I am feeling summery, no idea why, as it is a particularly gloomy day outside.
