Good morning to you, and it is a good morning… thanks to this….

I have made no bones but plenty of moans about my weight gain, yes , a lot of it is menopausal, added to the fact that as you get older it just doesn’t want to shift plus the added weight is now is in the tummy area, it just is , FACT, something I have never really been prone to before…. not bragging, just no children. I digress, apologies. Anyway I found this book on Amazon, one of the main reasons I downloaded it was the reviews and it was free on my KINDLE UNLIMITED package. Well, so far, it’s working for me. It’s not really a diet book, it’s more about your diet, what you are putting into your gut that perhaps you shouldn’t be and what type of foodstuffs would be better for you . I have followed their recommendations avidly since Sunday. I am just eating what is a healthy diet and unlike other diets I am not craving food. I stick to my 3 meals a day and 2 healthy snacks.
It’s early days and who knows what the end result will be but on the scales this morning I was 4lb lighter, I have been exercising daily as well, either 45 min spin class or brisk 30 min walk, but I do actually feel better. Just seeing that bit of weight loss, my not so big tummy ( can see my feet today) has helped my mood immeasurably .
So, my point is… I was so disgruntled about this middle aged spread , spreading even more, but now, I feel a little less disgruntled and ever hopeful that my VIVIENNE WESTWOOD jeans will be back on in the summer. X
