Well hello fellow Fashionistas. Today I am going totally against the grain by putting a picture of ‘yours truly’ on (excuse messy dressing room), however, I just wanted to show you what I am loving right now….. the hairband, particularly as the temperatures have been soaring. They are great way of getting your hair away from your face and….. you can still look tidy, (same however, cannot be said for the messy bun I was sporting earlier) jeez, it was sooooooooooooooo painful passing a mirror ( more so than usual), thank goodness it couldn’t style critique myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhoo, thought I would show you some of what’s on offer.
First off the starting blocks is ASOS, not only do they have a good selection, at OK prices (SOME OF THEM), they also have a fantastic selection of headscarves, which I am also enjoying trying out with a couple of messy pigtails (hey, age is just a number) OR curls.

If you fancy something ‘bespoke’, check out ETSY, the best choice EVER, I have ordered quite a few (quel surprise), from different sellers and they didn’t disappoint. It’s nice to help local businesses plus you have the added bonus of wearing a one-off piece that nobody else has.

Aren’t they lovely? I think you will be hard pushed to find anything as nice as these in the High St, however, if you prefer the physical act of shopping, i.e, actually looking in shops, I can’t think of any of the them right now who aren’t stocking some form of head wear or another.
What do you wear to match your hairband you ask? Well, you can be as dressed up or down as you want, they look great with a nice maxi dress and trainers, equally good with jeans and a t-shirt or if you are going out/out, dress up any outfit with one, something padded, I like the velvet ones with self coloured roses or opt for something with a bit of bling on it, the more bling, the better.
