Hello again fellow Fashionistas

I thought I would share with you my latest find in Lipsticks. Anyone who knows me, knows the one thing I will not be seen in public without, is my Lippie. It’s just a ‘must have’ for me. My lips are so small and pale that without it, I genuinely look like the walking dead!!

During my lifetime, I have tried and tested, loved and loathed, many, many lipsticks and whilst I know from doing my own ‘colour analysis’ what I should be wearing, it hasn’t stopped me from wearing some SHOCKERS , I have the photos as a constant reminder!!!

With the passing of time, I have learned these lessons the hard way, I am definitely a lot older, maybe not much wiser but I am trying to stick more to (skin) age suitable colours.

In my make up box (suitcase), I have everything from TOM FORD (£45!!!) to MAC to NYX (and the rest) but I just felt I wanted to try something different and as I was in no hurry to get my butt of the sofa to discuss my needs with some BOTOXED Beauty in-store, who would no doubt sell me some lipstick colour I didnt want and also about £100 of beauty products I would never use ( but felt I had to buy them) and neither would the assistant as she has no need with her BOTOX, FILLERS and lips that look like she has done 10 rounds with Muhammed Ali (he was a boxer daahhlliinng, in case you are too young to know). So, with that in mind, I did what I do best, (IF I DONT MIND SAYING SO MYSELF) I had a look on World Wide Web aka Internet.

I opted first for AMAZON as it’s great for reviews from ‘normal’ people (is there such a thing?). Anyway, I found these……………………………..

They are OULAC Metallic Shine Glitter Lipsticks and are £8.99. I bought 3 (STILL WAY CHEAPER THAN 1 TOM FORD).

My favoured daytime one is no 11 – Hip and Hippie. I love it, it glides on, stays on FOREVER, doesnt dry your lips out and the colour is great for my SUMMER palette.

For going out of an afternoon, lunching, consuming vino or just getting dressed up and swanning around, I wear no 17 – Sweet Lolita. It’s bright and fun and great if you have a bit of a sun-kissed glow.

And for a night out, which in my case means home by about 10pm at the latest, I chose no 14 – One Last Kiss. This isn’t technically in my colour palette but it does have hues of ‘soft plum’ , which is. I don’t feel I am going out/out unless I am wearing a more dramatic colour PLUS, well known fact, this type of colour makes your teeth appear white(r), whereas the pinks- don’t. I know, I know, I am just the gift that keeps on giving.
