I’m back

It’s been a while but I now have time for a wee catch up, finally. Where does time go we ask ourselves? Anyone know? No, well, you lot aren’t much use then.

Anyway, how have you all been??

What’s been happening with me? Well, I have had a little procedure done but I wont be telling you what it is until next week, as I have a 2nd consultation on Wednesday….. and I want to keep you guessing!!!

I have also been busy with the old interior designing lately. As the seasons change, I always fancy getting the paint brush out – suffice to say, it ends up in my hair, on my freshly painted nails, on my clothes, everywhere, except where it’s meant to go = GGGRRRR, it has freshened the place up a bit though.

NOT TOO SHABBY METHINKS.

Apart from the usual, working (BLAH) and just getting on with the day to day things, plus eating too much, what??? It tastes good, stop judging!!! Give a 57 year old menopausal woman a break!!! ……………..Life isn’t too bad.

I haven’t been blogging as I haven’t had much to talk about on the ‘fashion’ front as everything is soo dull and overpriced (for what it is) AND there hasn’t really been anything that has floated this ‘fashionista’s …………..

However, having finished work at midday today, I decided I needed to get my ‘ish’ together and get out into the REAL world. I knew my favourite local boutique had got a delivery of new stock for the Autumn and since the lovely ladies work on a Sunday, I felt it would be rude not to have a little browse. Soo glad I did, seeing all the lovely things has got me all enthusiastic, some may even say excited about the upcoming change in Season.

LOVE IT boutique have surpassed themselves this time, with new suppliers from Paris, to name just one. The stock is amazing and, as ever, the shop display does it justice. This boutique really is a ‘one-stop’ shop now. You can kit yourself out from top to toe, dresses, trousers, jackets, coats, shoes, bags, jewellery, hats…… I could go on, but I wont. I will let the photos (I took earlier) do the talking……………….

Not only is the boutique on point, the staff are too. I took a friend along a few weeks ago. She is literally terrified of shopping, sticks to the same staples, always has done, a NEXT shopper (eek). Sorry NEXT. NOT sorry really, same stuff they have been selling FOREVER!! Lisa took my friend in hand and made her, genuinely, feel like a princess, she brought her outfits that she would never have chosen for herself but that Lisa knew would be perfect for her and absolutely no pressure to buy, she left with 2 dresses and a pair of trousers and, most important of all, a huge smile on her face. You just can’t get that in a chain store in a shopping centre.

Do not think I am not on any kind of commission or anything for mentioning LOVE IT again, I just like it when people make an effort to get it right, the big stores just don’t care, and as for the staff, it’s not their product so why should they care (obviously it’s not the case for all of them but it just takes bad customer service from one to put me right off). None of us have much disposable income right now, so isn’t it just nice when you get something just that little bit special and are made to feel special in the process. I think so.

Thanks for reading and if you didn’t, it’s your loss (kidding, kind of…).

Enjoy being you xx
