Some of us, being of a certain age, will remember this ‘work of art’ (of a TV programme, note the sarcasm), I suppose in it’s day it was probably bearable.

Well, it was and still is BIRDS OF A FEATHER and guess what today’s tip is?? No, it’s not birds, how can you wear a bird, it’s their coats, it’s feathers!!!

The Catwalk this season is a flutter/flurry of feathers and luckily for you, so are most of the retail outlets.

Karen Millen also has it’s nest full right now, it’s not usually somewhere I would shop, some of the pieces are stunning but they do come with a hefty price tag , I also think they aren’t very generous in their sizing (either that or I am fatter than I think – please, dont let it be the latter), however they do have a SALE on at the moment, with some pretty decent discounts.

Surprisingly ASOS own label didn’t have as much as I had expected but here are a few pieces I deemed worthy of my site.

Lightinthebox popped up through my search. I have never bought anything from them but thought I would give them a chance to shine. ……………………… Light-shine… get it???? I crack myself up sometimes.

Love or hate SHEIN, and it really is a hit or miss, not to mention ETHICS etc, but we can’t ignore the prices, not everyone has a MASSIVE budget, none of us really have a lot of disposable income and if it’s cheap and cheerful you are looking for and want to take a chance of them (I have bought bikini’s and summer dresses for going abroad and they were great, did what it said on the tin), then go for it. (No pictures I’m afraid, as trying to get them uploaded was an absolute nightmare and this girl is way too old, grumpy and menopausal to spend any more time trying to do so!!!)

Lastly , my good old staple – ZARA. They don’t have a huge selection but I am betting in the next few weeks we will see more from them.

So, who would have thought it, tomorrow is tip number 4, and, at this precise moment, I’m not really sure what one of the remainder of my 10 it will be……….
