Any ideas for number 9???

It is, put simply, the colour RED, and is already a HOT favourite to be THE ‘colour’ for Autumn (black and grey dont count as colours!!!)

THE HISTORY

Red is the colour of extremes, of passionate love, seduction, violence, danger, anger, and adventure. Prehistorically seen as  the colour of fire and blood.

Who can wear RED?

Actually, most people can, it’s the undertones you need to be careful of –

A very simple rule to bear in mind when you are shopping is whether the shade is warm or cool.  If you try both options,  cool red and then warm red, you will see the difference very clearly.  Try one shade and look at the effect it has on your skin.  Does it bring it alive, make your eyes sparkle and your skin glow?  Does it even out your skin tone?  Or does the colour make you look washed out, tired, dull and generally unwell?

TRIED AND TESTED

If you  have a warm skin tone you need to wear a warm red and you can identify this as a red with a yellow undertone or easier to define, an orangey red, a bright vibrant colour.

If you have a cool skin tone you need to wear a cool red and you can identify this as a red with a blue undertone or raspberry red, which is a dark red.

EMBRACE RED, and REMEMBER, like a puppy, it’s not just for Christmas (or Valentine’s day), wearing red, especially the right shade, can totally transform you and your mood and it will certainly get you noticed.

You can’t beat a bit of colour, especially in our ever changing climate.
