Good afternoon fellow fashionistas. I write this when I should be on my way to the gym for some upper body strengthening followed by spin, suffice to say, I am obviously not on the way there, my excuse, I am feeling somewhat knackered, I fell asleep earlier whilst reading, could have been worse, I could have been driving, (I am now in my PJ’s, at a healthy 4.30 pm). I dont know if it’s the effects of HRT, week 3, but my back is in agony and I am sooooo tired, so I find myself finishing off this here BLOG instead, hey, there are worse things I could do. (Step away from the fridge Val!!)

Thought I would just let you know of my recent fashion dilemma, might as well bore you as well as everyone else. As some of you may know, I have started CEROC dancing (French jive). This involves dancing with a creature (stranger no less) from the opposite sex, said creature leads you around the dance floor, spinning you, pushing and pulling you and just generally dragging you (well, me) around. I am fairly new to it, having always been a ‘SOLO’ dancer, preferring to shake my ‘generous’ booty, the solitude of being in my own wee world and thinking I am the greatest dancer EVER, JUST DIVINE DAHHLLIINNGG!!! Afore-mentioned ‘SOLO”’ dancing also affords the luxury of wearing whatever the hell I want on my feet …. not so with CEROC, no sir, absolutely no chance with this dancing, any kind of heel is ‘SUICIDE’, not to mention you might tower over the creature, with added risk of getting stuck under their sweaty armpit – eek!!!!! I have therefore had to resort to my sparkly CONVERSE, Mary Janes or Miss KG pumps, now, don’t get me wrong, these are all very pretty shoes, of course they are, I chose them, and I have good taste, however, right now I love wearing my heeled ankle boots, with opaques, shorts or mini dresses but as CEROC takes place at ‘dances’ and is fairly ‘formal’, said PRETTY footwear doesn’t cut it with this look, however the pretty, sensible footwear does look good with…………………

………. the JUMPSUIT. These are from ZARA, and are instore and online right now, as we speak, and range from £45.99 to £149, and more importantly, are just perfect with my dancing shoes.

Ordinarily, going out of an evening, with a jumpsuit on, can be a tad ‘TRYING’ shall we say, as it often, if not always, involves going to the LADIES in TWO’s, as one requires assistance getting in and out of the silly thing, however, in this instance, as my ability to CEROC dance isn’t great at the best (worst) of times, I do not partake of much, if any, of the vino collapso, for fear of doing just that, therefore, trips to the LADIES to fight with this garment are somewhat fewer and therefore said item of clothing isn’t so much of a chore or blatant use of bad language.

The long and short of this story is, my CEROC fashion dilemma has been solved. HOORAH!!!!!

Enjoy being you x
