Good afternoon fellow fashionistas. how the devil are you all? You may be wondering what on earth I am going to be wittering on about, having seen my BLOG title and accompanying picture and music. You could even be thinking to yourselves, OH NO, NOT the dreaded Christmas talk already – well, I am not about to go there just yet, but you have been warned, it will come, with feather boas, balloons and Christmas music – o yeah!! My gripe and subject matter today is ‘combination’ skin, which funnily enough I have, hence the afore-mentioned gripe, and that t-zone shine’, or sweaty looking mess in my case, in particular, on my very bulbous, Karl Malden-esque nose (sorry Karl but you gotta admit you had a big hooter!!). I hate getting my face all made up and suitably matted, to then have a shiny beak about 20 mins later, and then having to constantly dab more powder on said large conk, which in actual fact, just makes it worse. I used to use a Chanel mattifier, which they stopped doing, I am kinda glad as it was pricey, I then found a really good AVON powder, really cheap, of course they stopped doing that, since then I have used numerous products, none of them I wanted to particularly blow my trumpet about (get it??? – I crack myself up, I really do), however, I recently came across this one in Superdrug, I am sold, I absolutely love it….
It really does what it says on the tin, I know this isn’t a tin, it’s just a saying , honestly, give a girl a break!!!
Anyway, if you are a shine sufferer, give it a go. Anyone who stocks NYX products will have it, as does Amazon, It’s coming in at approx £12, which is a fairly decent price.
