Well, my day is done, the work laptop has been unplugged and has been put away until 3.1.2024 and having been working from home, due to my wonky ankle, there hasn’t been much Christmas cheer, apart from me having either Christmas movies on in background or all manner of nonsensensical yuletide tunes playing, but hey, I have been happy in my own wee world and got more work done than if I had been in the office, so, for that, I give myself a well deserved pat on the back. Well done Valapparel.
Tomorrow, me and my moonboot Buddy (I named it/him) are going for a spot of breakfast with my chum and at night we (BUDDY and I) are going to the Cathedral, to hear Vivaldi’s Four Seasons (by candlelight), Buddy isn’t too keen, but he has no say in the matter, for one, my opinion is all that counts and for two, he is a boot and can’t talk !! What is wrong with you???? Anyway, who knew I was so cultured, apart from me??? The days of getting the last/wrong train home, rather worse for wear, are long behind me, well, since last year anyway……….
On that note, I am going to make myself some food, as ELF would say, as I am rather hungry, I shall however, return to chat to you all tomorrow (more Christmas nonsense you cry!!). YOU BETCHA!!!
