An eye for an eye

Good afternoon fellow fashionistas. You thought you were getting away from me for the remainder of the year, no such luck, I am back….. and with a little titbit.

Being a girl who has worn glasses for over 50 years, I always have to have my eye make up on, bit of liner and mascara, just something to try and make the eyes ‘pop’ out from the goggles. Finding a liner I like has been a bit tricky at times, as 9/10 I find one, rave about it, then it gets discontinued, thank you CLINIQUE….. !!!!! I have also came across one or two that just irritate my old peepers, MAC and STILLA, I really liked the texture of the STILLA liners but after about 15 minutes, I could barely see, and that kinda defeats the purpose.

As I was nearing the end of a Max Factor liner at the turn of the year, which I did like, I thought I would give something else a try and having seen the colours available from a relatively new Beauty brand and read some great reviews, I opted for…. Victoria Beckham’s Satin Kajal Liner in OLIVE. Now, it’s not cheap, shock, horror, who would have thought it, however I have been using it literally every day this year and have only just had to purchase a new one. The liner itself is so soft, doesn’t irritate my delicate little eyes, is easy to smudge for as little or much of an effect as you want and it stays on, I absolutely love the colour, such a great shade of green, (some of the other colours are pretty decent too), and as there is 15% off the beauty products online just now, I added the Longwear Crease-Proof Eyeshadow stick in Bottle Green to my order, it didn’t disappoint either.

So, if you feel like treating yourself and believe me, it is a treat, why not give Ms Beckham’s products a try. The lip-gloss aint too shabby either.

Enjoy being you xx
