Good morning fellow fashionistas. No stupid o’clock rise from bed for me this morning, no siree, I had a long lie, I got up at 7.50 am, what a daredevil I am.
So, as I said yesterday, if you bother to read my BLOGS, I was meeting up with my lovely friend for a wee catch up. On driving towards the shopping mall, I just knew it was not going to be a good shopping experience, nose to tail cars all trying to get into car park, with silly women in cars that looked like camper vans, trying to get into spaces that not even my FIAT 500 would get into and all trying to park as close to centre as possible, which, in my humble opinion, was not the most sensible idea, as in some cases, the furthest away parking spot would have been more beneficial- the walk/exercise to the mall, might have done them some good, you know what I am saying….

The mall itself was busy, (as obviously it would be with the amount of cars in the car park), and you know what, I cant actually believe I am saying this, I couldn’t be bothered shopping , just the sight of the windows with the big SALE signs still on them, I just knew the stores would be filled with garbage.
There was one shop I did want to go into, as I knew what I wanted to purchase and would therefore be in and out in minutes, which I was – it was RITUALS.

I love these two products, I love most of the products from RITUALS (my lovely friend bought me a lipstick as part of my Christmas, she must read the rubbish I write – thanks Mo), but this recovery hand balm is my favourite hand cream, it’s great, my hands always feel dry and just a pea sized pop of this rubbed into my hands, bliss and the smell is divine, as with the shower gel, you and the bathroom smell great after using it.
Our final shopping stop was TKMAXX. I love TKMAXX. You can always pick up something you had no idea you were looking for or intention of buying, however, I much prefer shopping online now. Years ago their website was CRAP, no point dressing it up, it was, there was hardly anything on it, now, most of my best buys from TKMAXX have been online (the only thing I would actually shop instore for now, are the nail polishes, you can pick up some great labels for more than half the price), the website has literally everything on it, you can get home delivery or pick up instore and don’t have to wait too long to get your purchases. Safe to say, we weren’t in the store for long yesterday, even the nail varnish wasn’t doing it for me (my friend did however pick up an AMAZING bargain. a PAUL COSTELLO trouser suit, £30, I kid you not and it is lovely).
So, not much more to be said about so-called shopping excursion but I will be back to pester you with my ramblings later on.

Enjoy being you xx
