Good morning fellow fashionistas.
Safe to say January is a bit of a BLAAAHHHH month, nothing much going on, the remnants of chocolates etc should all be finished by now and Christmas is just a very distant memory, as is anything decent in the shops. We still have SALES on and by now the stores are really dredging up a load of old toot, that looks like stock from 3 season’s ago, if they ever even stocked it!!! (Remember the NEXT sale from 6am, when people used to queue at that ridiculous hour, before the days of online shopping, for stock that had literally been made/bought in for their SALE, what a load of old dross they used to churn out-I was one of said shoppers who queued and purchased-silly Valapparel!!!) As I mentioned before in one of my ‘pages’, I am watching THE TRAITORS on BBC just now. Now, I know it’s silly and it’s ‘reality’ TV but it’s easy to watch and is mildly entertaining, but my main reason for watching is due to
Ms Winkleman and her outfits
I like Claudia Winkleman. I really do. I find her entertaining and inoffensive and I like the fact that her style (yes, I do know she has a stylist), is a bit quirky, and different from the norm of TV presenters AND her wardrobe on THE TRAITORS is AWESOME (she is tiny and could wear a bin bag mind you and still look good), HOWEVER, the ‘look’ she has on this show, suits her perfectly, is sooooooo NOW and any of us mere mortals could wear it.
The green KAPITAL (MEN’S) cable knit with the kilt and Dr Martens is my absolute favourite, especially with the ponytail.
I bow to you Ms Winkleman and am your humble servant forever more.

contrary to some of the comments on Miss Val’s blog there is no slow down at all on the parcels being delivered here with clothes, to be fair many are from Vinted so are ‘bargain’s. So I am told

Yes,there was an article in the Daily Mail on some of her outfits in the show.Some of them expensive! Quality doesn’t come cheap,especially Scottish Tweed,not some of the low quality sold in some of the shops aimed at gullible tourists

True. That jumper is over£400 however I shall customise one of my own Arran knits with some patchwork sleeves. Vinted good for tweeds, some nice NESS skirts etc on it, well worth the price for second hand
