Good morning FF’S. I hope this day is in finding you in fine spirits, so far anyway. I have been up since 6am this morning, dunno why really as nothing productive has been achieved, I have just sat reading and watching junk TV, but hey, it’s Sunday!!!!
I don’t know about you ladies but even if I am only going out for a late launch/dinner, I always feel the need to put on my OUT OUT make up and matching gladrags. Well, let me tell you, I did it yesterday and I hated everything about myself, from the heavy foundation and dark eyes, to the red lips and don’t even get me started on the outfit, I could hardly wait to get home, get the slap off and the pj’s on.
Now, when I am talking about breaking up, it’s with my make up obviously, but, that being said, I can’t possibly go out without any…. I mean, I have seen what I look like without it, if you think I aint pretty with it on, you should see me without it, EEK!!! SCARY!!!! So, I have decided that even when I’m going OUT OUT – the RED lipstick stays in the make up box with all the other heavy duty stuff.
Please excuse the frightening pictures, if you have any children in the house, avert their eyes, but, I just thought I would share with you what I opted for today. (I don’t claim to be any expert, at all, on make up, as long as it covers up some of my white face, that’s all I am concerned about….. and not looking like BABY JANE for obvious reasons)…..I am more of a clotheshorse kinda gal.

- Base – Tanologist Insta Glow
- Top coat – As I have Combo skin, I always need a bit of something on top of base. I use my trusted Mac Powder (as you can see it has been so well used – the name has rubbed off)
- Lipliner – My GO TO, all the time, PIPPA of LONDON
- Lipgloss – Pudaier, cheap as chips, lasts on lips FOREVER
- Countour/Highlight – Ellen Tracy, soooo cheap, absolutely fine for what it’s supposed to do
- Blush – Ellen Tracy again, however, for going OUT OUT, I will stick to my Estee Lauder but, for today and work, this palette does exactly what it says on the tin and goes on easily as does the Contour palette
- Eyeliner – Don’t know what I ever used before Victoria Beckham but I wont be going back to it, whatever its was. Love her Liners and Shadows
