Good morning FF’s. I hope this early Sunday morning finds you well. I am a little tired to be honest, I’m hoping over the next few hours to give myself a shake and get some exercise, but as my weight is at an all time high and even my LYCRA doesn’t fit, I can’t see it happening. But that’s a dull story for another day, deja – vu I hear you say – yip, you’d better believe it.
On another note, no matter what size I am, there is one form of attire I do feel comfortable in…. I know, shut the front door, she isn’t moaning about something!!! It’s actually what I am wearing to work. When HYBRID working started I couldn’t even contemplate what to wear, not that I had been living in pj’s or joggers, I just never would, but I needed something to cover the blubber, looked smart/casual, was comfortable and easy to travel in and walk from train station to said place of work. This is THE ‘LOOK’ I opted for and the ‘street style’ look for Spring.
Oversized coat, wide leg trousers, fine knit sweater, some brogues, HUGE tote (with space for Laptop) and my trusted (and I LOVE IT) MISSONI scarf (from TKMAXX…. not spending £250 on a scarf, no matter how much I covet it!!).
If it’s comfort you are looking for, this is it. You can also dress down at weekend with a hoody, some jeans and trainers, underneath said coat and a crossbody bag.
