Good afternoon FF’s. Another 1lb off today… whoopdibloodydoo… OMG, this is the slowest weight loss in HISTORY, but I will take it, nothing else I can do, except complain!!!! I have, however, decided, that after my Friday weigh-in, I deserve a treat, (especially as I have been poorly all week and had to drag myself up by the hair extensions to get there today, not a pretty sight)… so this morning I went out to BRUNCH after my class, to House for an Art Lover, had some nice food, took away an enormous Empire biscuit for later, (they do the BEST empire biscuits ever), which I ate for lunch/dinner, then had to lie down afterwards as I was in a self induced sugar coma. Much later still, some chocolate with the same effect, NOTE TO SELF, maybe better NOT to treat ONESELF to quite SO many treats after said weigh in next week, especially as I will no doubt have put the meagre 1lb back on as a result of today’s SUGARFEST!!
Anyhoo, as it’s Friday, I had a wee wander around the shops before the MUNCHATHON took place… and why wouldnt I? I went into M & S, not somewhere I buy much attire from but my choice of stores was limited..

Liked this bubble hem MIDAXI dress, has wee peep cut – out at back, £49.50

This cute little bag would go well with it, £39.50

And some slip-on ballet pumps… or

studded buckle ballet pumps, both £39.50
Big pair of statement earrings – these are from ZARA, £17.99
NEXT…
Time to get the slap on.
As we are now officially into the Spring season, hopping bunnies, tulips and daffodils etc, etc – it’s time to go for the more natural LOOK, SO… lock away the red lipsticks, relegate the black kohl eyeliner to the back of the make-up box, bin the stale, heavy duty foundation… you get the picture…
For that natural, ‘I woke up looking like this’, ‘sun-kissed’ glow, try RITUALS Sunglow Powder, retails at £26, It goes on well, feels so lightweight on the skin and gives just the right amount of colour without the OOMPA LOOMPA or ‘dipped in treacle’ look !!!

If you are looking for something new for lips, try this from Rituals, £18 – It’s Limited Edition from The Dream Collection – Shimmering Lip Oil, it’s just lovely, but it can be quite tricky to get hold of, it’s sold out in a few of the stores, (probably as it was advertised in GRAZIA when it first came out) – I had to get mine online, which is never a good thing for me…as I think…well, if I am paying for p&p, I better make it worth my while, # even though I only popped online for 1 item, shopping cart appears to have about 5 in it by the time I get to CHECKOUT (as I can’t help my stupid self!!)

My GO-TO for my lips, is still their Fortune Balm , in Blush – I just love it, adds a great pop of colour as well as hydrating the lips. I don’t leave home without it, £13.50
Their eye palette is great too, lots of lovely neutrals, it’s £40

AND, for a little bit of decadence, treat yourself to The Dream Collection Whipped Shower Foam. it is A – MAZ – ING. It’s like being covered in whipped cream, without the stickiness and curdled milk smell, not that I would know what that feels or smells like, but I can imagine…. the scent from this mousse is just….. HEAVENLY!!
So, off I pop now. Things to do, people to see……………happy shopping
