Good morning FF’s. Thought I would pop on and tell you what is floating my boat right now….
So, anyone who watched Love Island (gawd help us – it was soooo bad), will have seen the HYPE about WONDERSKIN Lip Stain,
decrying it as the alternative to lip tattooing (at about 1/13 of the price!!!!). I have my lips tattooed, they are so pale without it, (I look dead), hence the reason for getting them done, however, I do still always put liner on for definition and add a pop of lipstick or gloss, cos that’s just me!! Anyway I thought I would try this out, at £18, it’s a decent price, I bought the HOT PINK, and I have to say, it does what it says on the tin. I left it on for about 10 mins (as I was going OUT,OUT) and just used a damp cotton pad to take off, then finished the look off with my PIPPA of London lipliner and a bit of VB lip-gloss. Voila – stayed on all night, just topped up gloss (as I was partaking of some food and beverages).
For a quick WHITE smile, these strips are great. They come in at £9.95 from AMAZON. I use them when I am putting my FACE on for going OUT OUT and they really do brighten up the old gnashers. They are not a long term solution for whitening but great as a wee ‘pick me up’ for going out.
I’ve mentioned these before, at just over £6, they are such a bargain. I do my own nails, I like doing my nails – I finish up work on a Thursday, get all my bits n bobs out, bit of music on and let the carnage commence, put these on, adding whatever nail colour or embellishment I want. To take them off again I just use and acetone remover which basically just dissolves the nails
Silk pillowcases – I was very kindly gifted one last year for my birthday and I do feel it genuinely helps with messy bedhead, morning hair and better feeling skin. This is the ‘SLIP’ pillowcase, as recommended by Victoria Beckham, (we don’t all have over £100 to spend on one case Ms Beckham) but there are a huge amount of alternatives out there at decent prices……………………… If you want a really good alternative…………..
the LILYSILK is £39 *for one*, from AMAZON but you can literally buy these silk pillowcases anywhere, DUNELM has 2 for £30.
For a bit of colour I have been using Bali Body Mousse for quite a while, I really liked the coverage and the colour but it literally STINKS, so I have moved on to
great colour and doesn’t have that disgusting biscuity smell !!!!!
And finally…. I had coveted this for sooooo long and was treated to it at Christmas…… VB Portofino ’97 Eau de Parfum
I just love it but it does have a hefty price tag and once I put it on, before going OUT OUT, that’s it on, no topping up when out, as I am too scared to take it out with me, for one, it’s a big bottle, for two, after a few drinks I would douse myself in it, drop it or lose it, so…as an alternative to any of these outcomes, I found this and it’s a pretty close match to the real deal, especially if you are only topping up the ‘good stuff’ ……
