Good afternoon FF’s. Busy day for me today. Up again at stupid o’clock, ended up painting anything that didn’t move, passed a few hours. Hey. What’s a girl to do on a Sunday…………..except shop??
So. On my non working day on Friday, I had a bit of retail therapy with my chum Morag. Boy did I buy some crap, some good stuff too and a good old browse.
Saw this in ZARA, really cute. Suedette and £59.99. Love this colour and like the blouson effect, very 80’s !!
Picked up a couple of nail polishes in TKMAXX, always good to get a decent brand at 1/3 of the price. This one is ESSIE – ‘flight of fantasy’ (stupid bloody name). Picked up a couple of gifts too, always find something a bit different there.
Headed into Waterstones and took a note of some books I fancy, when I finish reading the 200 I have yet to start – reading one called The Secretary just now, by Zoe Lea, it’s readable, not too brain taxing.
Felt I had to get myself something from RITUALS, be rude not to when I had to walk by it to get home.
Watched ‘Ballad of a small player’ on NETFLIX last night, featuring Colin Farrell, Tilda Swinton and others. I enjoyed it, bit unusual, Farrell is awesome in it. The film itself had Wes Anderson feel to it but it was Edward Berger who directed it, he of ‘All quiet on the Western Front’ and ‘Conclave’ fame. Worth a watch.
