Well, it looks like Summer (I think that is what we just had) is leaving us and with that comes a drop in the temperature and dark nights…. BOO!!!!!!
However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel, we may need to do a bit of shopping to update our Autumn/Winter wardrobe….YAY!!!!!!!
So, you may be asking yourselves, what is on trend this Autumn/Winter 2022/2023. Well, I will tell you… walk this way…..
MAXI SKIRTS are making a comeback this year, which for me is a good thing as these legs do not need to be out on show.

RELAXED TROUSERS are another favourite of mine, particularly if you are carrying more weight around the tummy and butt, nothing worse than wearing something tight that accentuates the dreaded area and also leaves you feeling soooo uncomfortable.

BLAZERS are also back on track, not that they ever really went away, I remember going to see Duran Duran in 1985 wearing one, not unlike the one below……. those were the days!!

THE COAT, an absolute must, particularly if you live North of the Border, the days of fitted coats seem to be long gone, this season has longline and oversized again.

STRIPES, they are never far away. This season has knits and long-sleeved t-shirts in varying styles and colours.

JEANS, as I have said in previous BLOGS, this season is all about the straight leg. The Skinny is dead to me.

THE FEDORA HAT, if you are a hat lover and have the hair that stays the same after you take your hat off, I congratulate you, (my hair is trashed afterwards), however, it still doesn’t stop me wearing them and this year’s Fedora is no exception, it can totally finish off or transform an outfit.

Well, this has just been a brief glimpse into what’s on trend and in the shops this season. I chose ZARA as they are usually on point, have such a great variety of products and are reasonably priced. Sizing can be a bit tricky at times but then, most stores are guilty of that now.
I have enjoyed writing this BLOG, it has stopped me complaining about the menopause and my weight, which can only be a good thing.
Hope you have found this useful, if not, then at least entertaining.
