If like me, you are struggling with what to wear right now, ( we appear to have a mixture of Spring – like weather conditions with Winter temperatures), the secret to this is, layering, something we are unfortunately used to. Don’t make the mistake I did and change your wardrobes over, (luckily I did have the foresight to leave one pair of boots out, 2 sweaters and all my coats havent yet been removed from the hall cupboard).

I certainly wont be spending a lot of money on clothes for Spring as before you know it, we will have moved on to the next season, hopefully!!!

ZARA has some pretty decent ‘special prices’ day wear that is bang on trend (for me), just the type of things I tend to wear (particularly when feeling a bit chunkier).

For going ‘out out’ I checked out ZARA’s new arrivals, therefore, price tag to match……….. but really not that expensive in comparison to anywhere else, just not ‘special prices’

As my body shape is,

(bottom heavy in comparison to top half, huge bum, hips and legs), I am a HUGE fan of a high waisted, wide leg trouser with an oversized blouse or a shorter top with a puff shoulder or detailed sleeve, anything to detract from the humongous bottom half. Luckily for me ZARA has a shirtload of shirts at the minute and even if they are meant to be oversized, I still buy bigger, the bigger the better, opting to wear half in, half out tuck in the waistband.

This look can be worn with trainers, brogues, ballets or a heel, dressed up with long chains or just chunky hoops and depending on colour/pattern, you could get away with a D & G style headband, add a nice clutch, maybe not Victoria Beckham’s latest addition to her collection, retailing at £890!!!

Personally, as a PEAR, I will never wear a patterned trouser, always self coloured and I tend to opt for darker shades, lighter shades and patterns accentuate my hips.
