Affordable Chic

Good morning Fellow Fashionistas. Hope this Sunday finds you all well. Thought I would hop on the Blog train and show you some of my ‘finds’ for wedding guest/ and (in my case ‘Ceroc’) dances.

As the wedding season is upon us, no doubt there will be a few of us invited to one or three of these shindigs. It fills me with the ‘fear’ when I get an invite, what to wear, yadayada, spending days, weeks, months, searching for just the RIGHT outfit, often wishing I had never been invited in the first place,( WAAAAYYYYY too stressful for this fashionista!!!) However, it’s getting easier, times are indeed a changing and we are no longer dressing as ‘formally’ as we used to, which can only be a good thing, particularly for those purse strings.

As I may have mentioned before, several times, ASOS is great for one-stop online voyeuring/shopping. They have so many decent brands, some not so, plus I am actually a huge fan of their own brand, I find their sizing is spot on (for me anyway – and let’s face it, I am the only one that counts daaaahhhllliinnngggsss).

I recently had to look for 2 outfits (absolutely cannot be seen wearing same outfit to 2 different events, only takes 1 person to be at both and it’s fashion suicide).

Here are just a handful of what ASOS has right now, we have ASOS DESIGN, Hope & Ivy and Sister Act, just as a taster……………………….

…………………….Here is what I went for (for first event, you are not seeing my second outfit – YET), obviously I am the second picture, I can only live in hope of ever looking a fraction like the first one!!!!
