Let’s do REAL

Good afternoon FF’s.

I am off on one again…. I have just been catching up on my GRAZIA magazines and as per, during, and after doing so, I get on my high horse, and have a rant, as there are so many unaffordable items in said ‘rag’. and equally annoying articles/interviews – I had to have a little chortle @ one said interview – Coleen Rooney does PRIMARK and how this is her second collaboration with this fashion retailer, yeah right Coleen, all your clothes are from there, you got your crayons out (sorry, Wayne let you borrow his) and designed this whole new collection, (of course after all your hard work you will be wearing said designs, as you wander through your £20 million home, avoiding Wayne at every turn).

I also particularly liked this week, NOT, the back page entitled, ‘The last Word’ (I wish), a regular piece where they interview some ‘celebrity’ or other, this week’s it’s an ‘entrepreneur’ (aka, mummy and daddy have a lot of money, which means their little darling can play with as many start-up ideas as she wants, until she finally finds one that doesn’t make a loss or as a very last resort, she goes and ‘works’ for daddy – miaow!!), this piece is in the form of quick fire Q & A, asking such high brow questions as ‘what was the last meal you made?’, where so-called ‘celeb’ replied, a salad with fish ingredients from (somewhere I have never heard of), let’s just say Fortnum and Mason, (some such overpriced establishment). Every answer she gave was another piece of virtu signalling, as heaven forbid an entrepreneur should say she heated a LIDL lasagne, garlic bread and a bag of rocket on the side and ate whilst reading the latest Freida McFadden!!! The responses get more ludicrous week by week. This whole premise is the same as one in another magazine, where you see in someone’s fridge (who actually cares???), and guess what, it’s full of foie gras and caviar, not a blackened old carrot or carton of lumpy milk in sight!!!

Anyway, rant over, don’t know why I still subscribe to it, well, I do, I don’t know how to cancel it… and they do give some good tips on new publications/books and films that are coming out.

So, on that note. I am going to show you my outfit on one of my days out in Edinburgh last week, this did from day to night, as the Fringe was on and who wants to be having to go back to the hotel to change, when there was sooooooooo much to do, this was super comfy, casual enough to be smart and vice versa and as a BONUS…………………. will never be seen in GRAZIA magazine!!!

You sitting comfortably???

Top – Uniqlo £24.90

Jacket – ASOS £19

Trousers (Navy/Brown) – ASOS £22

X Body Bum Bag – ASOS (Pieces) £28

Trainers – ADIDAS @ SCHUH – £40

Add some gold jewellery, (I had a couple of pendants on) to brighten up the top, which I have to say, I only bought as the one I was wearing I managed to get make-up on. I just walked into nearest shop, UNIQLO, not somewhere I normally shop, bit drab, dull colours, however this top is oversized, satin- like and actually very nice on.

You’re welcome.

A bientot mes amies xx
